Alana Stack specialises in the development of corporate and consumer communications strategies across a range of media for Map and Page clients including Bluetongue, Bondi Blonde Eyeblaster Campaign Management Solutions, Octet Financing and The Australian Jockey Club.

Alana’s experience in the industry has a corporate-government focus as she completed an internship at the United Nations Information Office in Sydney 2005. At the UN she was exposed to a variety of media management strategies and gained insight into how a large international organisation functions. During her internship she implemented strategies for the United Nations with government agencies, non-governmental organisations, educational institutions, and the general public to promote a better awareness and understanding of the intentions and principles of the organisation.

Alana completed a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications with Honours in Government and International Relations from the University of Sydney. Her thesis examined how government sources influence media content. Through this research she gained an in depth understanding of how and why certain issues are selected by the media, while others are overlooked. Consequently, her studies lend a theoretical approach to her public relations strategies, backed up by practical experience of working for the world’s largest international organisation.
